Compressor will not open?

Anybody having this problem?

I have final cut studio 2 (a real version) I have recently up graded to Snow Leopard and this is when the problem started. I now have to convert all my old vision to mpeg 4 because we have used mpeg 2 before. But compressor will not even open. I have done all the software updates.

Any clue?

Applications not opening can almost always be fixed by trashing your preferences.

Have you tried that?
